This blog started out as an assignment for a class I couldn't stand, became my chronicle for a rarely-dull, never-conventional, occasionally haywire trek through Latin America, and now serves as an outlet for my opinions on whatever grinds my gears. Mostly politics and music.

Hi Andrew and Noodle!
I finally had a chance to quietly and leisurely peruse all the photos from Equadormant.
Gosh, they are all so wonderful. I loved every photo - the scenery, the churches, the statues, the "fotbal" game, the Equator, the gardens, your students in Bua. Quito looks gorgeous and Cuenta looks awesome too. I could see myself coming down for a visit (no worries, though - it's unlikely).
Naturally, though, I loved seeing the photos of the two of you. You guys look great! You both look so happy in the pictures. And the pictures are so clever.
The locals are beautiful and their clothing (and hair) is so colorful. YOu must be loving it!
Continue to keep us posted, and I'll be sure to drive visitors to you blog and photo albums.
Love you.
Mom
